Tuesday 5/10

Today was a gorgeous day here in Madison. It was at least 80 degrees. We worked at a house on the west side. Our only project today was to remove all of the aluminum siding on the house and load into a huge dumpster to be recycled. It was deathly hot and we got more sweaty and dirty today than we have all the time we have been here so far. We had to use crowbars along every wall and gutter. There was also a ton of insulation underneath the siding which made for alot of itching and sneezing. It was a shorter day because after we had stripped the entire exterior of the house our boss let us have the rest of the afternoon off because we were literally dead and dehydrated.

Tomorrow is our first day on the construction site and we are both really excited because my brother has done it before and he said not only is the construction more fun but you get to learn life skills that stay with you which should be really fun and interesting.
